Canada Day Events
Pancake Breakfast - 8 am and running until 11 am 80 Hurontario St. across from the hockey arena beside CIBC
Family Bike Parade - 10am at Trott’s Sports Excellence 290 Hurontario St. and ends at the Collingwood Public Library.
Rubber Duck Race - 2pm at Hume Street Bridge and finishes at the Pretty River Bridge.
Fishing Derby
Bring kids up to 14 years old out and have some fun fishing off the pier at the Shipyard Park from 8am - 12.
Bring your own rod or get a free rod for the family. All worms are included. There are prizes for the largest fish, the most accurate cast, and more. All kids enjoy free pizza and a drink for all their hard work. All money raised from this event supports local youth programs.

Pancake Breakfast - 8 am and running until 11 am main street in front of the hockey arena.
Family Bike Parade - 10am at Trott’s Sports Excellence and ends at the Collingwood Public Library.
Rubber Duck Race - 2pm at Hume Street Bridge and finishes at the Pretty River Bridge.
Kids Fishing Derby
The 35th annual Optimist Fish Derby will take place on Saturday, June 24 at the Collingwood Harbor. Registration will take place at the parking lot near the municipal launch site starting at 8 AM.
Children between the ages of 5 and 14 will receive a fishing rod (one rod per family) and are eligible to win prizes in their age group. There will be drinks and pizza available for the children free of charge. Adults are asked to make a small donation on behalf of their children.
The Optimist Club has been assisting youth with this, and many other activities, for the past three decades. Please support the Optimists in this event and consider joining the Club so that we can continue to serve youth for many more decades to come.

Family Bike Parade
The second part of our Canada Day Events is the Family Bike Parade!
We will be beginning at Trott’s Sports Excellence, and finishing at the Public Library Parking Lot.
Annual Celebrity Pancake Breakfast
We kick off Canada Day bright and early with the ANNUAL CELEBRITY PANCAKE BREAKFAST.
$5 FOR ADULTS $3 FOR KIDS
